Melon ice cream

Usually when I make ice cream, I use another method that includes the ice cream machine, but this time as I had a lot of work, I simplified it a bit, but I think I got more complicated !!

  • 200 ml liquid cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • the pulp of a melon

Servings: 6

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Watermelon ice cream:

Melon pulp peeled and cut into cubes, put in a bowl over low heat with 1 tablespoon sugar and leave to stir until soft, pass the melon very well then put back on the fire to lower the water from it and to remain only melon puree; don't be afraid that its aroma will not disappear!

Put the whipped cream in a bowl on the fire together with the remaining sugar, leave it to melt without boiling, then set it aside and incorporate the melon puree; after homogenization, pour into a bowl and keep in the freezer for 2 hours.

After this time, remove the bowl and mix until the whipped cream rises, leave it in the freezer again for 1 hour, remove it again and mix it, do so until the ice cream is ready and then serve.

The watermelon must not be juicy and all the water in it must fall on the fire, otherwise the ice cream will be with ice needles
