Put the flour in a bowl and mix with the sugar, salt and baking powder. Add the egg and margarine cut into pieces, mixing them all with your fingertips, until all the flour is incorporated. Knead the dough until it sticks to your hands, wrap it in transparent foil and put it in the fridge where it is left for at least 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, clean the apples, grate them and heat them a little together with the sugar. In order not to color, you can add a few drops of lemon juice. After removing from the heat, add the semolina and cinnamon. The jam heats up slightly, to make it softer and easier to spread.

After it has cooled, take the dough out on the work surface, flour it, take three quarters of it and spread it. To make it easier, spread it directly on the baking sheet, then put it in the tray. I used a round one, 28 cm. Put the jam over the dough, which is spread and add the apples over it. From the remaining dough, spread a sheet from which to cut strips and make the grid that is placed over the apples.

Put in the oven, on the right heat, until it starts to brown on top. I forgot to look at my watch :), but I think I left it for about an hour.

Allow to cool before cutting the pie. When serving, you can sprinkle powdered sugar over the slice.
